Dr. Spyros Varthis, DDS, MS, MPhil, PhD
Dr. Spyros Varthis is a Prosthodontist and an Oral Implantologist.
As a Prosthodontist, he is highly trained in Dental Aesthetics, Dental Implants and is a leader of the dental treatment plan. Dr. Varthis is an expert with advanced technology utilizing state-of-the-art techniques and procedures for treating complex dental conditions focusing on restoring optimum function and esthetics.
He completed his Prosthodontic training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. He furthered his education in Oral Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University focusing on Special Needs patients and Oral Surgery. His Ph.D. (Columbia University) is focused on Science Education.
He worked at New York University College of Dentistry as a full-time assistant clinical professor in the Department of Prosthodontics.
He also served as a research investigator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is lecturing nationally and internationally at various conferences and published in Journals such as JOMI, EJDE, Journal of Oral Oncology, etc.
